Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Axiom LSAT (“Axiom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using Axiom, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign up or connect via Google OAuth.
  • Study data — Wrong Answer Journal entries you create, including question identifiers, question types, confidence levels, and written analysis.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and session activity, collected to improve the platform.
  • Billing information — payment details are processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your card number or full billing details on our servers.
  • AI interactions — messages sent to the AI coach, used to generate responses and tracked against usage limits.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Axiom platform
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • To personalize your study experience and generate AI coach responses
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send transactional emails such as account verification and password resets
  • To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve platform features

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your study data for advertising purposes.

4. Third-party services

Axiom uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and study entries are stored in Supabase-managed databases.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all billing and is subject to its own privacy policy.
  • Anthropic (Claude)— AI coach responses. Messages you send to the AI coach are processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's data usage policies apply.
  • Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and study data are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information through your account settings
  • Delete your account and associated data at any time through account settings
  • Export your study data upon request
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, use the controls in your account settings or contact us through the platform's support channel.

7. Cookies and local storage

Axiom uses cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember your theme preference, and support platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from signing in.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Children's privacy

Axiom is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
